Occupational Therapy Sessions
Our therapy sessions help children, teenagers, and adults develop the skills they need to live independently and participate confidently in daily life.
Delivered by an experienced Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant, our therapy sessions focus on self-care, mobility, domestic capability, organisation, social engagement, community access, and sensory regulation, using evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual’s unique needs and circumstances.
Therapy takes place in the home or local community, ensuring clients’ comfort and a real-world application of skills. We explore skill building, assistive technology, environmental modifications, and structured routines to enhance independence, improve function, and promote well-being
We offer highly tailored, client-centred therapy sessions for children, teenagers, adults, and families - helping individuals build the skills they need to live more independently and participate fully in life.
Our occupational therapy sessions support:
-
We support people with autism, ADHD, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, food avoidance and ARFID to build capacity and live meaningful, independent lives. Therapy is offered in blocks, and focuses on:
Emotional regulation and managing difficult feelings
Daily living skills like cooking, shopping, medication, and routines
Social participation and community engagement
Executive functioning, motivation, and goal setting
Confidence, identity, and self-worth
Food exploration, mealtime routines, meal preparation, and family strategies to minimise stress.
We take a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approach, meeting people where they’re at, without judgment. Recovery isn’t always linear, and we’re here through every stage: ambivalence, action, relapse, and growth. We collaborate with participants, families, and stakeholders to support sustainable, person-led outcomes.
-
We support the development of essential life skills such as budgeting, meal preparation, managing life admin (like appointments and bills), and building executive functioning abilities including planning, organisation, time management, working memory, and decision-making. These skills are key to fostering greater independence, confidence, and everyday participation both on the home front and in the community.
-
We help people build practical skills for everyday life, including cooking, budgeting, managing appointments, gardening for sustainability, and time management. Our therapy supports development in activities of daily living (ADLs), household tasks, social and community participation, work readiness, leisure engagement, sleep hygiene, and creating sustainable routines that support independence and well-being.
