This is a senior paediatric role for an OT who wants to do paeds differently. This role requires deep clinical practice.
You’ll work with children, adolescents and youths into their 20s with:
Autism and ADHD
Complex psychosocial histories, behavioural and family presentations
Emotional regulation & executive functioning challenges
School refusal
Eating disorders
This is not a sit-in-a-clinic-all-day role. You will:
Deliver therapy across home, school, and community environments (with optional clinic days)
Support emotional regulation, participation, routines, and independence
Work closely with parents, teachers, and support teams
Build long-term, meaningful therapeutic relationships
Contribute to functional assessments and reporting where required

You are a paediatric OT who:
Thinks beyond sensory checklists and worksheets
Understands behaviour as communication
Is comfortable working with family systems and complexity

Occupational Therapy degree + AHPRA registration + full rights to live and work in Australia
Experience in paediatric OT required (this role is not suitable for early career OTs due to the complexities of families we see)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
WWCC & NDIS Screening Check
Desirable:
Experience in neurodiversity-affirming practice
Demonstrable autonomy in managing a caseload
Training in emotional regulation, mental health first aid, or trauma-informed care
NDIS experience
